Tubeleksen kuskit Eerik ja Henrik ottivat osaa Nordic Gravel Seriesin järjestämään Falling Leaves Lahti -graveltapahtumaan syksyllä 2021. Nordic Gravel Series järjestää vastaavia tapahtumia koko kauden ajan ympäri pohjoismaita.

Reittivaihtoehdot olivat 50 km / 450 m, 86 km / 1000 m ja 146 km / 1500 m. Valitsimme harrastelijamatkan eli tuon 86 km reitin. Tämä oli meille pyöräilyuramme ensimmäinen pyöräilytapahtuma.

Reitti oli mahtava. Hiekkateitä, järvimaisemia, latupohjia ja metsäautoteitä. Asfalttipätkien osuus oli saatu minimoitua erittäin hyvin.

Tubeless.cc special team, Henrik and Eerik, took part in the Falling Leaves Lahti gravel event. The event is organized by Nordic Gravel Series. They also have several other gravel events in Finland, Sweden and Norway.

Route options was 50 km / 450 m, 86 km / 1000 m and 146 km / 1500 m. We decided to choose the 86 km route. This was the first cycling event for us so wanted to see what it would be to ride on event conditions.

The Falling Leaves Lahti 86 km route was amazing. Typical finnish countryside ravel roads, forests, lakes, ski trails, singletracks and forest roads. Also some pavement was included, but only short parts.

The weather was a little bit rainy and roads and trails were all wet

The route was amazing. Some parts of the route went through the private properties so I recommend to check carefully those parts and edit the route if you think about riding that.

I totally recommend taking part of Nordic Gravel Series events and especially the Falling Leaves Lahti. I think next year we are going also some other events of Nordic Gravel Series.
